Eric started participating in the challenge in 2000 and has attended the event almost every year since. On several occasions, he volunteered or crewed for fellow riders.

He was asked to consider joining the Board of Directors in 2020 and he gladly accepted the challenge.

He works as a Risk Manager at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, where he has been employed for 31 years.

Eric is the organizer of the cycling group Long Distance Cycling Cleveland. The group prepares riders for ultra-distance events and organized tours.
