Long-time N24HC rider and Rapid Wheelmen member Gary Trap has passed away. You could see him at events throughout the area and the year, from Barry-Roubaix (where he broke his clavicle a couple of years ago) to the Iceman Cometh Challenge, and from the Rapid Wheelmen Time Trials to the National 24-Hour Challenge. Gary always had a smile on his face, a helping hand to lend, and a wheel available to suck. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
At N24HC, Gary rode 16 times between 1997 and 2014, breaking the 350-mile barrier twice. He earned his 5,000 mile jacket in 2014.
