Registration is now open for the 39th annual National 24-Hour Challenge on June 18-19, 2022. Have you accepted the challenge? Over 75 riders can’t be wrong – they have already accepted the challenge and registered for the 2022 National 24 Hour Challenge.
Registration is simple! Head over to n24hc.bike/register and in a couple of minutes you will be registered. Registration closes at 6 p.m. EDT on Friday, June 17, 2022.
We are asking all riders who rolled over their registration from 2021 to visit n24hc.bike/register to verify your information and make sure we have the correct information for you.
If you are interested in our Support Team services, we would encourage you to register soon as we have a limited number of openings and the Support Team services will sell-out.

We are excited to be planning for the 2022 National 24 Hour Challenge and are optimistically looking forward to June 18-19, 2022.
Realistically, we must once again plan for the impact of COVID-19 on the event this year. Our preparations will be shaped by the guidelines, restrictions, and requirements imposed by four organizations.
First, we will be following the recommendations and guidance of the CDC for holding a safe event. You can find the current CDC guidance on holding an event on this website. We will continue to monitor their recommendations and advice as we get closer to the event.
Second, we will be subject to the legal restrictions imposed by the State of Michigan. We continue to monitor the MDHHS Epidemic Orders issued by the state on a fairly regular basis as conditions change. These orders from the State of Michigan will have the most influence on the event as they include restrictions on how many people we can have in indoor and outdoor gatherings and the types of services and events that can be held.
Third, we will need to meet all requirements of our checkpoint and event locations. Our headquarters at Thornapple-Kellogg Middle School is operated by Thornapple-Kellogg Schools, and our checkpoint at Delton Kellogg High School is operated by Delton Kellogg Schools. While we have filed the necessary paperwork to reserve these facilities on June 18-19, 2022, we will be subject to all requirements they have in place at that time.
Fourth, we will need to meet all requirements specified by our insurance carrier. Our insurance carrier requires us to use an approved release form and document all accidents during the event. Our planning for the event will also be influenced by any additional requirements our insurance carrier mandates related to COVID-19.
The 2022 National 24 Hour Challenge will reflect the guidelines, restrictions, and requirements of these organizations.
The board of directors will be meeting in April to determine how we will comply with the guidelines, restrictions, and requirements in place at that time to hold a safe event for everyone – riders, crews, volunteers, and spectators.
